A West Haven man was arrested by members of the Milford Police Department Tactical Unit following an investigation of suspicious activity at the Howard Johnson Motel.
Detectives were allegedly informed by motel staff of a strong odor of marijuana on the third floor area.
With the assistance of drug detection K9 "Cedar," a room occupied by Jacquin Davis, age 36 of West Haven, was allegedly found to be in possession of an ecstasy pill, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Davis was charged with possession of ecstasy, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and interfering with police.
Davis was held on $10,000 bond.
