Amber Mugford returned home last night, according to a message Milford police sent out at about 9 p.m. on Jan 1.

The Milford Police Department is investigating a complaint involving a missing juvenile from Milford.
Amber Mugford, 16, was last seen on Dec. 31 at her residence in Milford, according to police.
Mugford told her family that day she was at the Westfield Connecticut Post Shopping Mall. She is described as a white female, 5 feet tall, 145 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.
Mugford was last seen wearing a white North Face coat, black leggings, brown UGG boots and a pink hat, according to a police report.
Mugford has been reported missing to the Milford Police Department in the past. Family members are concerned for her welfare due to a medical condition which requires her to take medication which she does not have with her, the report states.
