Milford Police Investigating Fatal MVA

Information provided by the Milford Police Department


A collision on Bridgeport Avenue between a car and a motorcycle resulted in the death of Eric Hart, age 42, of Milford.

According to Milford Police, on Saturday, December 15th at approximately 9:59 p.m., a 1999 Nissan Maxima operated by Nancy Warner, age 57 of Milford, was traveling Southbound on Osborne Street, approaching the intersection of Bridgeport Avenue.

After stopping for the stop sign, Warner proceeded across Bridgeport Avenue when a collision occurred involved a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Hart.

Hart was traveling Eastbound on Bridgeport Avenue prior to the collision.
He suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police are continuing with the investigation and are asking anyone with information regarding the accident to contact Officer Demirjian of the Milford Traffic Division at (203) 783-4764 or email at ddemirjian@ci.milford.ct.us

Eric was an amazing guy and friend, I have had the pleasure of working with Eric at Estes Express Lines for 9yrs.. he always liked having fun and had a heart of gold.. Rest in peace my friend, You will definitely be missed dearly. :(

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
