Milford Police Charge Woman w/ Criminal Impersonation, Shoplifting

A New Haven woman was arrested after she allegedly shoplifted $238 worth of merchandise from Target in Milford.

Monaisa Francis, age 21 of New Haven, as well as another female, allegedly concealed the stolen items in a bag and exited the store.

Milford Police apprehended Francis inside the shopping mall.

During her arrest, Francis provided Police with a false name and forged official documents. 

Milford Police are continuing with the investigation regarding the second suspect.

Monaisa Francis was charged with sixth degree larceny, sixth degree conspiracy to commit larceny, criminal impersonation, third degree forgery and interfering with police.

She was held on $500 bond.

Sad that their owners didn't keep searching until they found a house that would accept two cats. IRead More hope they find good homes.

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(
