Milford Police Blotter: Employee Thefts, Harassment, Larceny

Luis Pires, 40, of Kings Highway in Milford, was charged April 30 with second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree harassment. According to police, on April 19 officers received a complaint of vandalism to a resident's vehicle's tires on Blackall Road. An investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Pires, who is accused of damaging two tires on a former companion's vehicle and sending several unwanted text messages to her. He was released on a promise to appear in court May 1. 

Cesar Abreu-Geigel, 27, of Cascio Street in Ansonia, was charged April 30 with third-degree larceny. According to police, on March 14 officers received a complaint regarding an employee theft at Napoli Indoor/Outdoor Auto Outlet, at 241 Boston post Road. An investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Abreu-Geigel, who is accused of taking several payments for vehicles being served and not depositing the funds, which totaled at $3,704.45. He was released on a promise to appear in court May 27.

Michael Torrento, 19, of Lenox Avenue in Milford was charged May 1 with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief. According to police, officers received a complaint regarding vandalism to mailboxes on Todd Drive and Lori Drive. An investigation led to the arrest of Torrento, who is accused of damaging two mailboxes in the neighborhood. He was released on a promise to appear in court May 27.

Kathleen Rappa, 23, of Pine Knob Terrace in Milford, was charged April 28 with disorderly conduct. According to police, officers received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Pine Knob resident. An investigation led to the arrest of Rappa, who is accused of pushing a relative during an argument. She was released on a promise to appear in court on April 29.

Vincent Maraia, 55, and Daniel Deloma, 22, of Welton Street in Milford, were charged with disorderly conduct. Deloma was also charged with third-degree assault. According to police, officers received a complaint of a disturbance between relatives at a Welton Street residence. An investigation led to the arrest of Maraia and Deloma, who are both accused of engaging in a physical altercation with each other. They were each released on a promise to appear in court April 29.

Latoya Henderson, 23, of Orchard Street in New Haven, was charged April 29 with fifth degree larceny. According to police, officers received a complaint regarding an employee theft that occurred in Walmart at 1365 Boston Post Road on Dec. 6, 2013. A investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Henderson who is accused of making two fraudulent cash transaction onto a store gift card totaling $1,000. And later the same day, using the same gift card to purchase a television another items at another Walmart located in Wallingford. She was held on a $1,000 bond.
