Milford Police Blotter: DUI, Assault of an Elderly Person, Forgery

The following arrest information was provided by the Milford Police Department. It does not indicate convictions

Omar Sanders-Armstead, 23, of Hancock Avenue in Bridgeport, was charged April 12 with driving under the influence and failure to properly signal. According to Milford Police, an officer observed a vehicle execute a turn without signaling properly on Bridgeport Avenue. During a stop of the vehicle, the officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana inside the vehicle, which led to the arrest of Sanders-Armstead for operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, police said. He is scheduled to appear in court May 8.

Cristian Cora, 19, of River Road in East Haven, was charged April 10 with two counts of violation of probation. According to Milford Police, officers took custody of Cora regarding two outstanding warrants for her arrest. Cora is accused of violating the conditions of her court-appointed probation. She was held on a $20,000 bond.

Alexandra Tsopanides, 20, of Pond Point Avenue in Milford, was charged April 9 with third-degree assault of an elderly person and disorderly conduct. According to Milford Police, officers received a complaint of a disturbance at a Pond Point residence. An investigation led to the arrest of Tsopanides. She was scheduled to appear in court April 10.

Eric Murray, 28, of Ridgefield Avenue in Bridgeport, was charged April 10 with second-degree failure to appear in court. According to police, officers took custody of Murray regarding an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Murray is accused of failing to appear in court March 8, 2012, for motor vehicle offenses he is accused of committing in Milford on Feb. 4, 2012, police said. He was held on a $1,500 bond. 

Geneva White-Lloyd, 39, of Elm Street in New Haven, was charged April 8 with violation of probation and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to police, officers took custody of White regarding and outstanding warrant for her arrest. White-Lloyd is accused of violating her court-appointed probation, and was found in possession of drug paraphernalia during her arrest, police said. She is scheduled to appear in court May 6.

Nicole Carlone-Jackson, 36, of Spring Hill Road in Trumbull, was charged April 7 with two counts of second-degree forgery, criminal impersonation, sixth-degree larceny and interfering with police. According to Milford Police, officers received a complaint regarding a female fraudulently returning merchandise at Target. An investigation led to the arrest of Carlone-Jackson, who is accused of returning merchandise with receipts unrelated to the transactions for the merchandise she had returned. Carlone-Jackson also provided officers with false information regarding her identify during her arrest, police said. She is scheduled to appear in court May 6.
