Milford Police Blotter: Assault of an Elderly Person, Drug Possession, Violation of a Protective Order

The following arrest information was provided by the Milford Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Joshua Laprade, 35, of Linden Street in Bridgeport, was charged May 6 with interfering with police. According to Milford Police, officers received a complaint from a customer of CVS regarding a suspicious male in the parking lot attempting to open doors of unoccupied vehicles in the lot. Officers located the male in the lot of an adjacent business. Police said Laprade fled from officers on foot, but was caught a short time after. A bond amount of $1,000 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court June 3.

Gina Malady, 31, of Yale Avenue in Milford, was charged May 2 with second-degree failure to appear in court. According to police, officers took custody of Malady regarding an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She is accused of failing to appear in court on April 4 for a disorderly conduct offense committed in Milford Aug. 4, 2013. A bond amount of $25,000 was set and she is scheduled to appear in court May 27.

Wayne Kelly, 51, of Anderson Avenue in Milford was charged May 2 with third-degree assault, second-degree strangulation, first-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct. According to Milford Police, officers received a complaint regarding a disturbance at an Andersen Avenue residence. An investigation led to the arrest of Kelly, who is accused of striking his companion several times and choking her, police said. He was held on a $25,000 bond.

Brandon Stewart, 25, of Savin Avenue in West Haven, was charged May 2 with second-degree failure to appear in court. According to police, officers took custody of Stewart regarding an outstanding warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in court on April 9 for assault, breach of peace and failure to appear charges in connecticut with his arrest on Aug. 31, 2013. He was held on a $1,000 bond.

Richard Uberti, 61, of Lincoln Avenue in Milford, was charged May 3 with third-degree assault of an elderly victim, second-degree breach of peace and violation of a protective order. According to police, officers received a complaint of a disturbance at the Redwood Restaurant. An investigation led to the arrest of Urbeti, who is accused of striking a companion and violating a protective order issued by the court prohibiting him from having contact with the victim. Police said Uberti allegedly pushed an employee who attempted to assist the victim. He was released on a promise to appear in court May 5.

Jourdin Senior, 21, of Whalley Avenue in New Haven, was charged May 4 with third-degree assault and interfering with police. According to Milford Police, officers received a complaint regarding a disruptive patron at SBC Brewery. An investigation led to the arrest of Senior, who is accused of striking an employee and kicking an officer during the incident. A bond amount of $1,000 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court May 27.

Michael Feulner, 33, of Seaflower Road in Milford, was charged May 4 with two counts of disorderly conduct. According to police, officers received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Melba Street residence. An investigation led to the arrest of Feulner, who is accused of pushing tow relatives during the incident. A bond amount of $500 was set and he was scheduled to appear in court May 5. 

Marvin Perez, 22, of Adams Street in Stratford, was charged May 4 with violation of a protective order. During an investigation, officers found that Perez had violated a protective order issued against him by the court, which prohibited him from being within 100 yards of the protected victim's residence. A bond amount of $5,000 was set and he was scheduled to appear in court May 5.

Shea Marazita, 21, of Hillside Avenue in Trumbull, was charged May 5 with possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana. Marazita was relapsed on a promise to appear in court May 27. No other information was available at the time of release, police said.
