Milford Police Arrests: Protective Order Violation, Larceny, Reckless Endangerment

The following arrest information was provided by the Milford Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Jamar Roberts, 29, of Summit Street in New Haven, was charged March 5 with third-degree larceny. According to Milford Police, on Aug. 8, 2013 the department received a complaint about a former employee theft at Radio Shack on Bridgeport Avenue. An investigation found that while employed at the store, during the months of June and July 2013 Roberts allegedly completed several fraudulent customer returns transactions, and kept the money — a total of $3,406.38. A bond amount of $5,000 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court April 1. 

Jonathan Lisej, 23, of Howe Avenue in Shelton, was charged March 5 with violation of a protective order. According to Milford Police, the department received a complaint on Jan. 28 from a Milford resident about an unwanted email she received from a former companion. An investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Lisej, who is accused of having contact with the victim in violation of a protective order issued against him by the court. A bond amount of $5,000 was set and Lisej is scheduled to appear in court April 5. 

Jeffrey Mongile, 29, of Robert Treat Drive in Milford, was charged March 3 with evading responsibility and unsafe movement. According to police, on Jan. 3 officers received a complaint regarding a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Kinlock Street. An investigation led to ann arrest warrant being issued for Mongile, who is accused of colliding with another vehicle and leaving the scene of the accident. He was released on a promise to appear in court April 3.

Kiesha Rodriguez, 35, of Orchard Street in New Haven, was charged March 3 with second-degree failure to appear in court. According to police, officers arrested Rodriguez on an outstanding warrant. She is accused of failing to appear in court on Sept. 17, 2013 for charges related to her arrest on March 29 for a larceny committed in Milford. A bond amount of $5,000 was set and she is scheduled to appear in court Aril 1. 

John Serra, 57, of Lyda Drive in Milford, was charged March 3 with second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace. A bond amount of $500 was set and he was scheduled to appear in court March 4.
