Milford Police Arrests: Interfering with Police, False Statement, Disorderly Conduct

The following arrest information was provided by the Milford Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Maria Coyt-DeMedina, 44, of Clinton Avenue in Bridgeport, was charged Feb. 27 with sixth-degree larceny and interfering with police. She was released in a promise to appear in court March 25. No other information was available at the time of her release, police said.

Laurie Francouer, 49, of Park Avenue in Milford, was charged Feb. 25 with disorderly conduct. According to police, officers received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Park Avenue home. The investigation led to the arrest of Francouer, which is accused of striking an acquaintance during an argument, police said. Francouer was release on a promise to appear in court Feb. 26.

Robert Nunno, 47, of Elm Street in Milford, was charged Feb. 24 with disorderly conduct, second-degree false statement and interfering with police. According to Milford Police, on Feb. 3 the department received a complaint regarding a disturbance between neighbors in the area of Elm Street and East Broadway. The investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Nunno, who is accused of "causing a disturbance with a neighbor regarding snow removal being performed by the neighbor, police said. Nunno is also accused of providing a false statement to officers regarding details of the incident "where a firearm was displayed by another neighbor." He was released on a promise to appear in court March 25.

Shanay Cannon, 25, of Morris Street in New Haven, was charged Feb. 24 with second-degree failure to appear in court. According to police, officers took custody of Cannon due to an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Cannon is accused of failing to appear in court on Dec. 23, 2013 for a larceny office committed in Milford on Aug. 16, 2013, police said. A bond amount of $5,000 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court March 25.
