Milford Police Arrests: Drug Possession, DUI, Threatening

The following arrest information was provided by the Milford Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Zachary Pinto, 19, of Wilshire Boulevard in Milford, was charged Feb. 28 with possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. According to police, an officer observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot of the Audubon Society on Milford Point Road. During the investigation, police found Pinto in possession of marijuana, related drug paraphernalia, Xanax medication pills and brass knuckles. Pinto was released on a promise to appear in court March 25. 

Lori Passos, 45, Pickett Street in Milford, was charged Feb. 28 with disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening. According to Milford Police, the department received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Picket Street residence. The investigation lead to the arrest of Passos, who is accused of threatening to harm a relative during an argument, police said. She was released on a promise to appear in court March 3. 

Michael Pisano, 52, of Woodmont Road in Milford, was charged March 1 with disorderly conduct, second degree breach of peace and interfering with police. According to police, officers received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a local motel. An investigation led to the arrest of Pisanao, who is accused of pushing his companion and causing a disturbance at the motel. Pisano then refused to comply with the officers' efforts during the investigation, police said. He was released on a promise to appear in court March 3.

Tricia Plotkin, 30, of Brookdale Avenue in Milford, was charged March 1 with fourth-degree larceny and third-degree forgery. According to police, officers received a complaint from Milford Bank regarding a fraudulent check they received from a customer on Dec. 2, 2013. An investigation revealed that Plotkin deposited a check into her account for $1,325, which was later found to be fraudulent. Over the next several days, Plotkin withdrew funds from her account related to the illegal check in the amount of $1,300, police said. She was released on a promise to appear in court March 25.

Matthew Mittelsteadt, 32, of Orchard Road in Milford, was charged March 1 with disorderly conduct. According to Milford Police, the department received a 911 call regarding a disturbance at an Orchard Road residence. An investigation lead to the arrest of Mittelsteadt, which is accused of restraining his spouse by the arms during an argument, police said. He was release on a promise to appear in court March 3.

Scott Racine, 45, of Birdseye Street in Stratford, was charged March 3 with driving under the influence. According to police, on Jan 24 officers received a complaint regarding a motor vehicle accident on North Broad Street. Racine, the operator of the car, was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. An investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Racine, who is accused of operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and striking a parked vehicle, police said. He was released on a promise to appear in court March 27.

Michael Uliano, 30, of Union Street in Milford, and Alyssa Gillespy, 21, of Richard Street in Milford, were both charged March 2 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. According to police, officers received a complaint that occurred at a Viscount Drive residence. An investigation led to the arrest of Uliano and Gillespy, who are both accused of engaging in a physical altercation with each other while visiting a relative. They were each released on a promise to appear in court March 3.

Julio Besson, 36, and Sonya Veillard, 50, of Marino Drive in Milford, were charged March 2 with disorderly conduct. In addition, Besson was charged with risk of injury and third-degree assault. According to police, officers received a complaint regarding a disturbance between spouses at a Marino Drive resident. An investigation led to their arrest, with both being accused of engaging in a physical altercation with each other. A bond of $20,000 was set for Besson and Veillard was released on a promise to appear in court March 3. 

Mary O'Hara, 23, of Strathmore Avenue in Milford, was charged March 3 with disorderly conduct. According to police, officers received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Strathmore Avenue resident. An investigation led to the arrest of O'Hara, who is accused of striking a relative during an argument. She was released on a promise to appear in court March 3. 

Patrick Toomey, 52, of Jackson Avenue in Stratford, was charged March 3 with third-degree larceny. According to police, on Jan. 9 officers received a complaint of a larceny that occurred at a Milford residence. An investigation led the arrest on warrant of Toomey, who is accused of taking items from the residence while performing home improvement services. He was held on a $10,000 bond.
