Milford Man Charged w/Carrying Firearm While Under the Influence

Police arrested a Milford man on May 4, 2013 at 1:35 a.m. after observing a vehicle not traveling in the established driving lane on Factory Ln.

During a stop of the vehicle, Milford Police allegedly found that David McAllister Jr., age 22 of 18 Earle St., Milford, was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. 

McAllister was also in possession of a loaded firearm, which he had a valid permit for.

Police seized the firearm and McAllister's pistol permit.

Subsequent to his arrest, a breathalyzer test revealed that McAllister had an elevated blood alcohol level, according to Milford Police.

McAllister was charged with DUI, failure to drive right and carrying a firearm while under the influence.

His bond was set at $500 with a court date of May 28, 2013.
