Milford Man Arrested on Credit Card Theft Warrant

A Milford resident was taken into custody for two outstanding warrants for his arrest, according to Milford Police.
Matthew McNary, age 26 of 43 Benham Avenue, Milford, had one warrant related to his alleged involvement in numerous unauthorized purchases made with stolen credit cards in November and December 2011, and January 2012.

The second warrant involved a complaint received in September 2011 where McNary allegedly sold numerous jewelry items that were taken from a Milford resident.
It was determined that McNary and an acquaintance had been hired to perform work at the victim's home prior to the incident.

McNary has been charged with third degree conspiracy to commit larceny, two counts of fifth degree larceny, two counts of conspiracy to commit larceny, thirteen counts of illegal use of a credit card, thirteen counts of conspiracy to commit illegal use of a credit card, thirteen counts of receiving goods by illegal use of a credit card and thirteen counts of conspiracy - receiving goods by illegal use of credit car.
McNary's bond was set at $5,000 for a court date of March 5, 2013.
