Milford Man Accused of Assaulting a Woman With a Pot
The alleged assault occurred Saturday night on Seaside Avenue.
Milford police say William Tripp III, 47, of Seaside Avenue, is accused of assaulting a companion with a kitchen pot.
Police said they received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Seaside Avenue home on Saturday.
A computer check revealed there was an active protective order issued by the court prohibiting Tripp from having any contact with the victim. He was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, violation of a protective order, and refusal to sign fingerprint cards. He was held on $50,000 bond.
