Milford Cops: Woman Charged With Shoplifting and Drug Possession

A New Haven woman is accused of shoplifting and police allegedly find drugs on her too.

What’s worse than being caught in possession of stolen goods, maybe being apprehended with both stolen goods and drugs, and that is allegedly what happened to a New Haven woman, police said in a press release. 

Milford police say Tracie Candelora, 39, of Congress Avenue, is accused of taking $734 worth of merchandise from Marshalls without paying for it. During her arrest, police found Candelora in possession of cocaine, related drug paraphernalia and narcotic prescription medication not stored in the original container, police said. 

She was charged with fifth-degree larceny, possession of narcotic, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of narcotic prescription.
