Milford cops who were trying to find one suspect, apparently found another early this week.
Police reportedly spotted a man with several warrants for his arrest Monday afternoon, but they say that man gave them the slip in the area of Broadway.
While checking the neighborhood for that man, police said, they met with a Broadway resident "and discovered nine marijuana plants that were being cultivated" inside his home.
"Investigators seized the plants, a cultivation tent and lighting equipment which was allegedly being used for the cultivation process," police said in a release.
The resident, identified as Shaine Oliver, 24, of 10 Broadway, Unit 10, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, operating a drug factory and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
He was released on a promise to appear in court, according to police.
"Police were unable to locate the male with the arrest warrants," cops said.
