Man Falls From Top of Four-Story Building

The 24-year-old man has life-threatening injuries following the incident. Naugatuck Police are investigating whether he was pushed.

The Naugatuck Police Department and the Connecticut State Police Major Crimes Squad are investigating an incident in which a 24-year-old man either fell or was pushed off of the top floor of a four-story apartment building at 8 Pond St. in Naugatuck early Wednesday morning.

The man, whose name was not released, was found laying on the ground next to the house with serious head and body injuries. Lt. Bryan Cammarata, Naugatuck Police spokesman, said the man is at Waterbury Hospital being treated for life-threatening injuries. As of late Wednesday, he was still in critical condition at the hospital, Cammarata said.

"We're looking into this as being suspicious, but we can't say for sure right now," he said.

That is all the information police were prepared to share with the media as of Wednesday night. They said they will provide updates as they become available.

The house is owned by Stephen King and Mark Shinagel, according to Naugatuck land records.

And it sad that the 2 boys are sitting in jail when the others that assaulted them ar enjoying their freedom

You are right if they did not do this it is sad that they are sitting in jail, but ask yourself why are none of there friends talking and telling the police what happened? Why has no one from that party come forward does anyone (Sal's or their friends) not care what happens to their friends? No matter what no one should be fighting for their life over a stupid beer pong game if that is what started the fight.
