Man Arrested for Pretending to Sell Drugs to Cops

Not only can you not sell illegal drugs, but you can't pretend to sell illegal drugs in order to scam the buyer, which is what one Norwalk man is accused of doing to Darien police buying drugs in a sting operation.

Police said a customer of Lord & Taylor in Trumbull left her credit card at the store in August and was later notified of possibly fraudulent purchases. A store employee, was suspected, police said. About $1,062 was allegedly purchased on the card.

The worker was recently arrested by warrant after Westport police detained her.

In a separate incident, a Norwalk woman is accused of stealing seven cashmere sweaters from Lord & Taylor, total value $1,275. She is charged with fourth-degree larceny.

A Stratford woman is facing assault charges after she allegedly assaulted a passenger on a Greater Bridgeport Transit bus that was travelling on Post Road East in Westport

A woman who allegedly attempted to steal two dolls from Stop and Shop in Westport was arrested and held on bond.

A New York woman was arrested Wednesday in Norwalk for allegedly trying to pay for her Staples purchase with funny money. Store employees detained the woman until police arrived after a cashier noticed four $100 bills felt strange. A scan of the bills allegedly showed them to be counterfeit.

A Stamford man was arrested Tuesday after police were tipped off he might be transporting heroin from New York to Stamford for a small "cottage industry." After stopping him at the train station as he returned from New York, allegedly, police recovered 44 baggies of heroin after he retreived it for them from his rear-end.

Fairfield police charged a man with driving under the influence after they discovered his car -- running and in reverse -- abandoned on an embankment on one road, his ringing cell phone in the middle of another road, and the man himself walking along a third road.

Stratford police said a handicapped parking spot led them to a local woman who had a warrant out for her arrest for violation of a conditional release with a court set bond of $5,000.

Darien police said they discovered a 19-year-old town man asleep at the wheel of his car in a parking lot, with the smell of marijuana wafting about and a 12-inch bong in plain view on the center console. A search of the vehicle allegedly produced about 6 grams of marijuana, four more smoking devices and a duffel bag containing a digital scale, grinder and packing materials.

A 33-year-old Shelton man was arrested at 6:30 in the morning on (initially) trespassing and mischief charges. However, after being uncooperative with police, they realized he was also in violation of a standing criminal restraining order, and had failed to appear on a scheduled court date.

I don't mind more pizza if its good pizza. There are plenty of horrible and so-so pizza places inRead More Milford. Currently 314 B-port Ave is a boarded up building with a parking lot where cops love to sit. Either this will prevent cops from sitting their or will cause them to sit there more. Also ladies, Milford is known for its P's: pizza, porn, package, and pawn.

Where is this trailer going to park at the devon market!? the traffic the market creates is bad enough for people that live in that area without a mobile oven rolling on in! I hope they have thought of that issue at the very least!
