Man Arrested for 2011 Bank Robbery in Milford

Arrest information provided by the Milford Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.


Daniel Cisiewicz, 19, of Bridgeport, has been arrested by the U.S. Marshal Violent Fugitive Task Force and is being held by the Milford Police Department for the alleged robbery of Citizens Bank on 231 Cherry St. on March 10, 2011.

Rick Naylor, 21, of Bridgeport, had already been arrested for the robbery, police said. Naylor was accused of entering the bank, displaying a handgun and fleeing with money in a waiting vehicle.

During the investigation, police said, detectives from the Bridgeport and Milford police departments identified Cisiewicz as an accomplice who reportedly drove the vehicle that fled from the bank.

Cisiewicz was charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, first-degree larceny, and first-degree conspiracy to commit larceny.

Cisiewicz was held on a $200,000 bond and arraigned at Milford Superior Court on Jan. 17.
