Man Arrested at Milford Sears for Shoplifting
The Stamford native had three outstanding warrants for his arrest.
On May 3rd at 4:30 p.m., Tavon Silver, 21, was arrested for allegedly attempting to steal a $130 pair of boots from the Milford Sears located at the .
Silver damaged one pair of boots while attempting to remove a security tag from them. Silver was then caught stealing a different pair of boots, which he hid in a duffle bag. Silver has three outstanding arrest warrants relating to larceny, forgery, interfering and weapons offenses.
He has been charged with 6th degree larceny, 3rd degree criminal mischief, two counts of 1st degree failure to appear in court and 2nd degree failure to appear in court. He is being held on $6,500. No court date has been set.
