Local Charged for Stealing Check from Car

Casey Dunne of Milford faces charges of forgery, burglary and larceny.

A 22-year-old Milford resident was charged Wednesday for allegedly stealing a check from a car, forging the signature of the check holder and attempting to make a purchase with it.

Casey Dunne of Baxter Lane faces charges of second-degree forgery, third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny.

The alleged theft occurred on Snow Apple Lane in Milford, according to police. The car was left unlocked, police said.

Dunne was held in lieu of $1,000 bond, police said Thursday.

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
