The Milford Police Department is currently investigating three robberies which occurred in the Eastern section of Milford involving a male subject displaying a knife:
- Dunkin Donuts located at 1353 New Haven Avenue - On September 28, 2012 at 10:16 pm, a white male wearing a dark colored Nike hooded sweatshirt with yellow a yellow Nike logo on the front, blue jeans and white sneakers.
- Shell Gas Station located at 524 New Haven Avenue – On October 6, 2012 at 10:40 pm, a white male wearing a light brown hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
- Milford Wine & Spirits located at 149 Welches Point Road – On October 10, 2012 at 2:20 pm, a white male wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, white t-shirt and blue jeans.
During two of the robberies, witnesses observed a vehicle leaving the area described as a dark older model four door vehicle possibly with a handicap placard displayed in the front window. Investigators believe the three incidents are similar in nature.
The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years of age approximately 6 feet tall, light colored hair and a mustache. No one was injured during these incidents.
Police are encouraging local businesses to report any suspicious activities to the police department.
