Kevin Tanski, age 53 of Milford, the patriarch of a family of pedestrians struck on Bridgeport Avenue on Tuesday, Feb. 12, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13, succumbing to his injuries from the accident, according to Milford Police.
Brenda Tanski, 51, of Milford, remains in critical condition and Jenny Tanski, 21, of Milford, has been released from the hospital.
A preliminary investigation revealed that four pedestrians were walking along the shoulder of the roadway prior to the accident occurring. The pedestrians and vehicle were all traveling Eastbound in the same direction. Kevin Tanski and Brenda Tanski were listed in critical condition, Jenny Tanski received minor injuries, and the other was not injured.
The operator of the vehicle involved in the accident is James Dorso, 31, of Milford.
