On August 10th at 8:41 p.m., arrested Daniel Wertman, age 47, of Ansonia.
Police observed a vehicle traveling on the Boston Post Road with a front tire missing.
Upon stopping the vehicle and investigating, Police determined the operation, Daniel Wetman, was allegedly intoxicated.
Subsequent to his arrest, police allegedly discovered two swords inside the vehicle.
Wertman has been charged with driving under the influence, operation a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle and interfering with police.
Wertman's bond was set at $1,000 with an August 28th court date.
