Cops: Orange Man Charged After Banging on Doors, Looking in Windows of Milford House

Milford Police arrested an Orange man following a trespassing complaint on the property of a Fresh Meadow Ln. residence.

An investigation revealed that Michael Cosgrove, age 53 of 445 Old Cellar Rd., Orange, was banging on the doors of the house and looking into the windows, resulting in the resident calling for police assistance.

Cosgrove was allegedly belligerent and combative with the officers. He kicked one of the officers in the chest area when he was being taken into custody.

Cosgrove was charged with third degree criminal trespass, assault on a police officer, interfering with police and second degree breach of peace.

His bond was set at $10,000 for a court date of June 10, 2014.
