A New Haven man was arrested after refusing to stop for Milford Police following a complaint of assault while traveling inside a vehicle on Welches Point Road.
Jose Santana, age 30 of New Haven, the alleged operator of the vehicle, traveled into West Haven and was involved in an accident, according to Police.
Santana was charged with reckless driving, engaging in pursuit, interfering with police and second degree breach of peace.
He was released on a promise to appear in court of February 26th, 2013.
