Cops: Milford Woman Stole $3,200 in Personal Checks

Twenty-year-old local faces larceny and forgery charges.

A 20-year-old Milford woman was arrested Tuesday on larceny and forgery charges.

Police said Michelle Brady of Holly Street cashed $3,195 in personal checks that did not belong to her.

“Brady had been a home guest with another acquaintance at a Milford residence where the checks were taken from,” police said.

The Milford woman was charged with third-degree larceny, third-degree forgery (5 counts), conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree forgery (5 counts).

Brady was released on a promise to appear for a scheduled court date of Sept. 3.
