Cops: Milford Man Strangled Companion
Alleged incident occurred inside man's home, police said.

A 27-year-old Milford man was arrested Friday for allegedly restraining his companion by the neck in an altercation inside his home.
Timothy Chuzas, of 154 Kings Highway, faces charges of third-degree assault, third-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct.

The alleged incident occurred just around the corner from the proposed site of a domestic violence safe house for women and children, which was ultimately scrapped because of public protest.
Chuzas was released on a promise to appear in court on Monday.
