Cops: Milford Man Slams Woman into Wall, Cuts Her with Knife

A Milford man has been accused of assaulting a former acquaintance at 112 Naugatuck Ave. An investigation by Milford Police found that Angel Villafane, age 48 of 112 Naugatuck Ave., Milford, forced his way into the home, pushed a relative of the victim and then shoved the victim into a wall.

Villafane is also accused of threatening to harm the victim and cutting her with a knife, causing minor injury.

Police conducted a K9 search for Villafane, who fled the area on foot. On May 13, 2014, the victim had received an unwanted text message from Villafane.
During both incidents, Villafane is accused of violating conditions of a protective order issued by the court.

Two warrants were issued for Villafane’s arrest for the above incidents. On May 13, 2014, Villafane was taken into custody with the assistant of the Norwalk Police Department.

Villafane has been charged with home invasion, two counts of violation of a protective order, second degree criminal attempt, third degree assault, disorderly conduct and second degree harassment.

Villafane is being held on $325,000 bond.
