Cops: Milford Man Restrains K9 by Neck During Citrus Assault

Arrest information provided by the Milford Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.


Two Milford men, both residents of 40 Old Country Lane, Milford, were arrested following an alleged disturbance outside Citrus Restaurant Saturday night.

Daniel Sprague, age 27, is accused of causing a disturbance and pushing a Citrus staff member. 

According to Milford Police, Vincent Sprague, age 24, and Daniel Sprague became combative with officers during the investigation.

Vincent Sprague is also accused of restraining a Police K9 by the neck.

Daniel Sprague was charged with two counts of assault on public safety personnel, interfering with police and second degree breach of peace.

Vincent Sprague was charged with assault on public safety personnel, interfering with police, cruelty to animal and second degree breach of peace.

Bond was set at $10,000 for a court date of March 12, 2013.
