Cops: Milford Man and Woman Arrested for Operating a Drug Factory

A Milford man and woman were arrested on Friday morning on a number of drug-related charges, including operating a drug factory.

Milford Police had been investigating a residence at 111 Bridgeport Avenue, 1st floor, Milford. 

Members of the Milford Police Department’s Tactical Unit conducted a drug sales investigation in Milford involving a residence at 111 Bridgeport Avenue 1st floor.  


On Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., Detectives apprehended Christopher Strain, age 44 of 111 Bridgeport Avenue 1st floor, and executed a search warrant.

Also located at the home with Strain was Michelle Brown age 44 of the same address. 

With the assistance of Milford Police K9 “Cedar”, Detectives seized approximately a half pound of marijuana, narcotic medication pills, drug packaging materials and $2,793 in suspected drug proceeds.

As a result of the search warrant, Christopher Strain and Michelle Brown were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a drug factory, possession of marijuana within 1500 feet of a school, possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1500 feet of a school, possession of narcotics, narcotics not stored in original container  and conspiracy charges for the above listed offenses.

Strain was additionally charged with  two counts of sale of marijuana, two counts of sale of marijuana within 1500 feet of a school, two counts of possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of marijuana within 1500 feet of a school regarding the two outstanding arrest warrants from previous investigations.  

Christopher Strain was held on a $200,000 bond and Michelle Brown held on a $100,000 bond.  

Both are scheduled to appear Friday, February 22nd at Milford Superior Court.

I don't mind more pizza if its good pizza. There are plenty of horrible and so-so pizza places inRead More Milford. Currently 314 B-port Ave is a boarded up building with a parking lot where cops love to sit. Either this will prevent cops from sitting their or will cause them to sit there more. Also ladies, Milford is known for its P's: pizza, porn, package, and pawn.

I second Christina! Is no one listening? we are up to our ears in pizza! Im pretty sure we have moreRead More pizza in milford than new haven! Where is this trailer going to park at the devon market!? the traffic the market creates is bad enough for people that live in that area without a mobile oven rolling on in! I hope they have thought of that issue at the very least!
