Cops: Milford Duo Broke Into Vacant Building
Orange police arrest two Milford residents who were allegedly caught in the building with burglar tools.

Two Milford men were arrested on Aug. 8 after they were allegedly caught inside a vacant building with burglar tools.

Orange police said the two men had forced entry into the former retail building at 260 Bull Hill Lane at about 5:30 p.m. that day. Officers responded there after receiving a report of suspicious activity in the area.
"Upon arrival, officers found that the two arrestees had forced entry into a former retail store building, and then gave conflicting stories as to what they were doing inside. They were both taken into custody and charged," according to the police report.

Collin Moran, 18, of Nicole Drive in Milford, was charged with possession of burglar tools, third-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree criminal trespass. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 22.
Brendan Hallett, 18, of New Haven Avenue in Milford, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree criminal trespass. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 22.
