Cops: Elderly Relative Assaulted in Milford

The alleged incident occurred in a New Haven Avenue parking lot.

Dawn Orshal, age 47 of an uncertain address, was arrested Thursday for allegedly pushing an elderly relative to the ground, causing minor injuries.

Orshal had allegedly exited a vehicle in a New Haven Avenue parking lot with the elderly relative's cell phone after refusing to return it.

When the relative went to retrieve her phone, Orshal allegedly pushed the relative.

Orshal was arrested by Milford Police Officer Lugo on September 6th at 4:54 p.m.

She was charged with second degree assault of an elderly person and second degree breach of peace.

Orshal was released on a promise to appear in court on September 7th.

What kind of monster does something like this. Attacks on children and the elderly have just gotten way out of hand. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!

Elder abuse is a dirty little secret no one likes to talk about, but it's real and it's despicable.
