Cops: DUI Charge After Car Strikes Pole

Arrest information provided by the Milford Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Branford woman was arrested after her vehicle allegedly struck a utility pole on Factory Lane.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Stephanie Majtan, age 41 of Branford, was operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, according to Milford Police.

A breathalyzer test allegedly revealed that Majtan had an elevated blood alcohol level.

Majtan was charged with DUI and failure to drive right.

Her bond was set at $500 for a March, 21 2013 court date.
