Cops: Dead Woman's Credit Card Used by Aide

Dequonna Horne has been charged with credit card theft, among other charges.

A health care facility employee used the credit card of a former resident of the facility, according to Milford Police.

A relative informed Milford Police about a statement from the deceased relative's bank, reflecting several unauthorized transactions in Milford and other locations in New Haven and Fairfield counties.

An investigation led to the arrest warrant being issued for Dequonna Horne, age 32 of West Haven, who has been charged with credit card theft, illegal use of a credit card and receipt of goods by illegal use of credit card.

Horne is being held on a $10,000 bond.
