Cops: Credit Card Theft at Milford Business

A total of $717 were allegedly charged to a company credit card through illegal means.

 

Milford Police received a complaint regarding several unauthorized transactions made by a former employee of Easter Metal Works on a credit card belonging to the company.

An investigation revealed that Akida McKnight, age 36 of Stratford, allegedly made several purchases for fuel on the credit card in January 2012 totaling $717.
Eastern Metal Works is located on 333 Woodmont Rd. in Milford.

McKnight was arrested by at 3:00 a.m. on September 2nd.

She was charged with credit card theft, fifth degree larceny, element counts of illegal use of a credit card and eleven counts of receiving goods obtained by illegal use of credit card.

McKnight was released on a promise to appear in court on September 11.
