Cops: ’13 Bags of Heroin’ Seized at Milford Motel

Two New Hampshire residents were arrested on drug charges Friday at the city’s Red Roof Inn on Rowe Avenue.

Brooke Parent, 22, and Crystal Staples, 37, were both charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said members of the department’s tactical unit observed suspicious activity at the motel.

A subsequent search of a motel room yielded drug paraphernalia, 13 bags of heroin and a small amount of cocaine and resulted in the arrests of Parent and Staples, police said.

The New Hampshire denizens were released on a promise to appear for a court date on Aug. 20.
