$100,000 Recovered in Milford Drug Bust

Three Milford residents were arrested on drug-related charges.


Cocaine, marijuana, scales, packaging material and approximately $100,000 in currency were allegedly found at the residence of a Milford woman.

Michelle Brown, age 44 of 111 Bridgeport Avenue 1st Floor rear, Milford, is accused of twice selling marijuana to an undercover detective.

With the help of Milford Police Narcotics Detection K9 "Cedar", police executed a search warrant of Brown's residence and allegedly discovered the illegal substances and money.

Also, during the search warrant, police arrested Adam Porter, age 22 of 12 Ellis Street, Milford and Christopher Strain, age 44 of 111 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.

Brown has been charged with two counts of possession of marijuana, two counts of sale of marijuana and  two counts of sale of marijuana within 1,5000 feet of a public housing complex.

Brown is being held in lieu of a  $20,000 bond.

Porter and Strain were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school.

Porter was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both men were released on a $5,000 bond and given a court date of September 25, 2012 at Milford Superior Court.
