Arrests Made in Theft from Milford Vehicle

Video surveillance from a local business led to the identification of the two suspects.

 

On October 24th, 2012, Milford Police arrested William Raw Jr., age 22 of 40 Applewood Lane, Milford and Joseph Biancheri, age 23 of an uncertain address, for their alleged involvement in the theft of a credit card taken from a vehicle on Dock Road on September 15th, 2012. 

The card was used to make several unauthorized purchases at local businesses. Video surveillance from a local business led to the identification of two suspects in the Dock Road investigation resulting in arrest warrants being issued for the two individuals.

The Milford Police Department is currently investigating several complaints regarding thefts from vehicles in the Milford area.   

Property from unlocked vehicles was taken which included wallets, cash, credit cards, GPS units and other electronic devices.

Both Raw and Biancheri have been charged with third degree burglary, two counts of sixth degree larceny, eight counts of theft of a credit card, three counts of unlawful use of a stolen credit card and conspiracy charges for all of the above offenses.  

A $45,000 bond was set on each arrestee who are both currently being held by the Department of Corrections.
