What Happened to Local Patch?

Patch WAS terrific when it first started. It was local and up to the minute. You could go to Milford Patch and get information about Milford before any other community. I know because I worked for them at that time. 
I know it's expensive to run a business with those standards, but I wish they had given the really local model more of a chance. These days Milford Patch could be West Haven or Cheshire or Stamford's local paper.
The only place to get Milford news is the Mirror although it is only weekly. Jill does a great job of maintaining that service to us.
