Unwarranted Kolwicz retirement

To all of Milford voters. I want to make sure that you are all aware of a major happening that has gone on in this City recently that could have a real negative impact on our City in the near and long term.
I noted during the campaign that I have received the endorsement of two of our Unions consisting of the Public Works and the Milford Supervisors. I have pointed out that two ...other unions the Fire and Milford Employees chose not to endorse either candidate. During several interviews and debates, I have stated that the four unions not endorsing the mayor was basically a vote of "no confidence" for the Mayor. Well now to add to this, the Superintendent of Public worksa Bruce Kolowicz, after 24 years of service has retired. I say retired because that's how its going to be reported. However, truth be known there is far more to the retirement than the announcement says and I can only hope that Bruce would in fact announce the true reason(s) why he is leaving.
Leaving as I said after twenty four plus years, leaving without giving but an hours notice, leaving just weeks before his anniversary date that could have earned him a few more dollars.

Like him or not, and I do, Bruce was one of the big movers and shakers in this City, Bruce and his staff were part of the real reason why Milford did so well during the storms and the aftermath, the real reason why so much gets done in the City and done right.

People need to know that what I am saying is not just a situation that can or should be glossed over. It is truly a situation where the Mayor just does not have the respect nor confidence of the vast majority of the workers in this City, the very same workers that run the City and run it well.

People can spin this situation in as many ways as they want. For those of you who are in a leadership position and those of you who have worked for good leaders, you know respect is earned and not just given because of the position. You don't retire from a position unless there are good reasons.

This is another sad day in the life of Milford's community and should not go by unnoticed. This is a political situation like it or not and the only way it can be changed is with a change at the top. Only two days remain before the election and I once again am asking for your continued support to get me elected as Milford's next Mayor.

The Unions (2 of them), the Milford animal group, the Milford Independent Party and numerous others support my candidacy and I need the voters in Milford to know this.
Thanks
