This winter, be part of the fun when the Leprechaun Leap comes to Walnut Beach on Sunday, March 16! Join the many warm hearted, brave souls who will "take the leap" for the Literacy Center of Milford, Connecticut.   Registration begins at 12:00 and Leap is at 1:00 SHARP!  These "Leapers" from around the city will collect donations from family members, co-workers and friends, and run, jump or dive into the icy cold waters at Walnut Beach.

What it Takes to be a "Leaper"...

Anyone with a little guts and a warm heart wanting to support The Literacy Center is welcome to participate.  But if you're "a little timid" to make the splash, show your support by making a pledge to a "braver soul". There is always plenty of room for spectating!

All proceeds collected by the "leapers" benefit the Literacy Center of Milford.

Come and support the competitions between the local High School students and teachers, civic groups, restaurants, banks, local businesses, canines and many more who will make the "leap" into Long Island Sound!!!

Trophies will be awarded in several categories, including Best Costume, Most Enthusiastic, Group Theme, Largest Group of Leapers, Most Individual Pledges, Highest Group Pledges, First One in Water, First One Out of Water, Bravest Junior Leaper (under 12), Best Tailgate Party, Best Leprechaun Costume and Favorite Literacy Leaper at the after party at Stonebridge Restaurant.  Pickup a registration form at the Literacy Center office at 16 Dixon Street - 203-878-4800, or on our web site www.literacycenterofmilford.com
