Poll: 2012 Presidential Election

Election Day 2012 is 9 months away. Who would you vote for if today were Election Day?

Election Day is November 6, 2012.

A Gallup poll released on February 1 shows Mitt Romney leading Newt Gingrich by 31% to 26% as the choice among registered Republicans to be the GOP nominee

Rick Santorum placed third at 16% with Ron Paul in fourth place at 11%.

A Washington Post-ABC News poll released February 5 shows that, although Americans are evenly split on whether President Obama deserves a second term, the President would beat the possible GOP nominees in an election.

Patch wants to know, if the 2012 presidential election were held today, for whom would you cast your vote?  Vote in today's poll and feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section.

This poll is shared across 10 Patch sites in South Central CT.

Pretty sad when a third of the people answered "Whoever the Republican nominee is" - mindless drones who vote are not what this country needs right now to survive.
Do your research before voting; there is only one true fiscal conservative running - Ron Paul. Vote responsibly - it's not a horse-race.

What the people are saying is anybody but Obama , the mindless people are the ones who vote for Obama.
Do your research Obama ,has done nothing.

The only responsible vote is Ron Paul.

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Sad that they had to leave these beauties behind. I'm sure they are heartbroken over it.

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
