Peter L. Spalthoff, Republican and Independent candidate for Mayor

Recently I announced that Public Works Union 1566 had endorsed my candidacy for Mayor and I was thrilled with the endorsement for several reasons. The biggest being their faith in me to do a better job as Mayor than what is being done now. Well, it just gets better with todays announcement that the Milford Supervisors Union, R1-125 has also stepped up to the plate and endorsed my candidacy. For those of you who don't know this group. They are the individuals who really do run this City, its their budgets and their subordinates who get the work done in the City and for them to come and endorse me I believe speaks volumes. It is also very noteworthy to know that in all of the years this union has been in existence in the City, they did not endorse, Mayors Lisman, Jagoe, Richetelli, Jepson or Blake. I am the FIRST Mayoral candidate to get that honor and I am so proud and honored by it. I do not take any endorsement lightly and everyone has my commitment that as Mayor of this great City all of my decisions will be made based on what's in the best interest of Milford PERIOD.
