Rep. Maroney Qualifies for Citizens' Election Program Financing
State Rep. James Maroney, a lifelong Milford resident, has represented the 119th Assembly District since January 2013.
State Representative James Maroney (D-119) announced today that his re-election campaign had qualified for Citizens’ Election Program (CEP) financing.
Representative Maroney has raised over $5,000 from more than 150 small donors from Milford and Orange, and will receive $27,850 in matching campaign funds from the CEP as a result.
Continuing to restore the economy, making Connecticut a more business-friendly state and bringing high-wage jobs to Milford and Orange are the pillars of Rep. Maroney’s 2014 re-election campaign.

“I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to run for a second term representing the residents of Milford and Orange," said Representative Maroney. "I’m proud of the work we have done to get Connecticut’s economy back on track, and I look forward to continuing to make great progress. As a small business owner, I know firsthand just how important a full economic recovery is to our state and our citizens, and I will work tirelessly to ensure that Connecticut is once again a prosperous and business-friendly state.”
Paul Hoffman, President of Orange Research, a manufacturing company located in Milford, and Past President of the Milford Chamber of Commerce said he was thrilled that Rep. Maroney was seeking a second term.

Rep. James Maroney, a lifelong Milford resident, has represented the 119th Assembly District since January 2013. Maroney currently lives in north Milford with his wife, Jen, and son, Jay.The Jonathan Law and Yale University graduate is an educational consultant and owner of First Choice College Placement in Milford.
