Dumpster Divers...

I want to vent to my fellow Milford residents about an incident that happened yesterday at my home. I've had a dumpster in my yard (in front of my garage)for about 3 weeks now because my husband and I have been spring cleaning our house and yard. Yesterday, while I was at work and my husband was home sleeping, unknown persons' in a black pickup truck, trespassed in my yard, and went dumpster diving. I am so livid at the entire situation, but I know there is nothing I can do about it now. I feel like we were ‘robbed’. Its one thing to come up to the house, ring the bell and ASK to go thru it; but to just DO IT makes me heated. What are your thoughts on this incident? What would you have done?
