In a pre-Christmas season performance of Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite,” Sydney Sachs, in the role of Clara, takes center stage in a stunning performance at The Literacy Center of Milford’s “Taste of the World” wine-and-food-tasting event on Oct. 11th at the Westwoods Ballroom in West Haven. She was joined by other “nutcrackers” from the New England Ballet Company Avery Lasky (from Milford) as Sugar Plum Fairy, Shaina Arsenault (from Milford) as British Princess, Amanda Piechota as Spanish Princess, Eilidh Currie as Chinese Princess, and Mimi Zshack as Russian Princess.
The Milford Kiwanis was one of four organizations/companies who were honored for their continued support and dedication to the mission of The Literacy Center of Milford at its grand finale “Taste of the World” wine-and-food-tasting annual fundraiser event on Oct. 11th at the Westwoods Ballroom in West Haven.
