Blake's Bipartisan Successes Praised

I don't pretend to be unbiased, but  last night (10/21/13) , Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro visited Milford and talked about  a “tale of two cities,” citing the horrors of dealing with bipartisanship politic in Washington, and contrasting this with how Ben is getting the job done in Milford.  She spoke of the calm, patient but steadfast Ben who sat through FEMA and HUDD meetings in order to get funds for our city and our neighbors.    She talked about how during Ben’s two years in office budgets have passed with bipartisan support and countless pieces of legislation have similarly been supported by both parties.  She reminded us that we were fortunate to have an experienced leader who understands both compromise and resoluteness.
 I only wish more of Milford's citizens could have heard this endorsement for our now and future mayor, Ben Blake.
