All Roads Lead to a Mega-High School

From the proposal made by the Chairperson of the MBOE in the last LRPC mtg; the most recent announcement made by who else, Tracy Casey (who made a comment that would it support the vision of the MBOE during the March LRPC presentation to the MBOE) that they were disappointed with the report from the LRPC; the announcement to keep things status quo with the current school configuration; the announcement that the school board will be sending a letter home to the parents of 180 students notifying them that their children will be classified as walkers next year (Based on the recommendations of an Ex-Traffic Cop??); it is obvious the MBOE is looking to ways to cut back on costs.  I see this as the 1st step to moving to the already pre-defined future for our school system.  Believe what you may, but my prediction is that the ladies of the 2nd District will get their way and a Mega-High School will be built in the near future at the only site in Milford that can possibly accommodate it, that being Eisenhower Park.  So to all my fellow residents, parents, and those especially who participated in the LRPC, brace yourself, because it is coming.
