Affordable Housing?

Milford, 273 units of Affordable Housing are being proposed by a Stamford developer,on Bic Drive, Milford has 6.5% of its housing affordable, the goal is 10%. While other towns in Conn. like Orange at 1.10%, Woodbridge 1.12%,Shelton 2.73%, and other towns 0%. even though 8-30 has been around for over 20yrs. the law was enacted to spread around the "affordable housing" so far Milford has put in plenty of affordable housing, we are overbuilt now. Why not Orange,Woodbridge,Shelton etc.  Meanwhile State Rep.Kim Rose,Democrat from Milford is looking for more lots to bring in more affordable housing. Each one taxing the city for social service, and overbuilding. Armed with 20k to seek out additional lots. Ms.Rose, said we need affordable housing for "working families" really, where are the jobs, and why have you spared Orange etc. When housing was built across from Rep.Roses house she was opposed. Why didn't she campaign on her support for overbuilding of affordable housing. To the people on Pond Point, the democrats support 8-30g.
