Richard “Dick” James Beams, age 75, longtime resident of Milford and beloved wife to Jane Bavero Beams, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 18, 2013 at home.
Born on December 26, 1937 in Tribes Hill, NY, he was the son of the late James and Dorothy Lansing Beams. Dick served with pride and honor in the US Navy from 1956 to 1961.
He was an avid movie goer and enjoyed scratch tickets. A loving father, grandfather and brother, he will be sadly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Scott Beams of West Haven, who was proud to be Dick’s son; two granddaughters, Angelia and Adriana Beams; a sister Nancy Houck of NY; his beloved dog, Phoebe and many loving family and friends.
